How to sit on NOOGI chair

Leaning position

① Straight up the back and place the sit-bones 

    deep into the seats. 

② Please check two inner seats are tilted towards 

    the back plate.

③ Relax your body and make sure the lower 

    lumbar and scapula (wing bone) lean on 

    the back plate completely.


   * The position of the sit-bones may vary 

     depending on body shape.

   * Make sure to rotate your pelvis together 

      when you lean on the back plate.

Forwarding position

① Place the sit-bones a bit forward from the 

    sit-bone spots.

② Please check two inner sections of the hip

    plates are tilted toward the front seat frames.

③ Experience accurate posture with less tension

    on the back muscle by rotating the pelvis. 



* The position of the sit-bones may vary 

  depending on body shape.

* Make sure seats are tilted not flat.

 

Avoid Incorrect Postures


Incorrect Leaning Position 1



Your lumbar will be bent unless you sit properly, 

and negatively affecting your spine’s health. 

Please keep the hip plates tilted down

 when you lean on the back.


Check that there are no gaps between the back 

plate and your lumbar while sitting down.




Incorrect Leaning Position 2



The worst sitting posture people commonly sit 

in a chair is sitting on their buttocks or tailbone. 

It will severely bend from 

the lumbar to the cervical spine. 


Set the hip plates to go down backward 

rather than forward to correct your leaning posture.




Incorrect Forwarding Position 1



When you straighten your back on the seat plates 

that are flat, not tilting backward or forward,

the erector muscles tense up. Over time, people with

weak core strength will bend the lumbar spine. 


Please assume an accurate posture 

therefore the seat plates work properly.



Incorrect Forwarding Position 2



If you are conscious of straightening your back too 

much, the arch of your back can become excessive. 

Then, the erector muscle as well as the spinal 

disc gets highly pressured, and it causes back pains.


Make sure it's vertically parallel from head to pelvis.



NOOGI Chair Posture Utilization Guide


    Pelvis movement posture 

Please sit in the center of the seats as if you're riding a seesaw. 

Check your back is straight up and stretch your pelvis and sit bone by moving backward and forward.

    Hamstring movement posture 

Stretch by moving your legs comfortably while you're sitting. 

The thigh seat plates are designed to prevent the leg muscles (hamstring) from being pressed and support the left and right legs independently to help blood circulation.

    Sitting backward posture 

NOOGI chair can be used to sit backward. Sitting in the same sit-bone spot can make it possible to have an identical accurate posture. It’s a great posture to work at your desk or to take a break.
